£17.00

Discover this French white wine made with 100% Chardonnay grapes from Burgundy. A beautiful wine that could either be drunk on its own or with fresh seafood and cheese.

Food Pairing: Excellent with pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, pasta in white sauce, cheese, and vegetarian dishes.

Meet the winemaker: Denis Bouchacourt

The 5.5-hectare 3rd generation domaine is located in Solutré, planted on hillsides.

This area is a little hotter with less frequent rainfall than other areas in the north of Burgundy. These Mediterranean influences mean that the grapes ripen slightly faster than in the other winegrowing areas of the region which influences the personality of the wines.

Predominately clay and limestone with coral residue formed from the Alps coral reef during the Mesozoic Era. The iconic Rock of Solutré, was created from fossilized coral plateaus that developed approximately 160 million years ago in these seas. Silex is also present in a low percentage.
