Our next chapter: we've merged!
We founded Collectivino two years ago with a simple mission: to introduce people to better quality wines, made with respect for people and the planet.
Starting out as a small online retailer, in just two years we have expanded and become a fully-fledged wine merchant with a small but perfectly formed team of passionate wine lovers and a growing fanbase of people who love good wine.
We are immensely proud to represent a growing number of incredible wine estates who share our values and who we've introduced to the UK market. We are the curators and appointed suppliers of Eden Project's wine list in Cornwall. And thousands of people are now enjoying our growing portfolio of 100 delicious climate-positive wines.
Exciting news about Collectivino
We have decided to join forces with our friends at a Surrey-based wine merchant, Wine&Something. Founders Dale and Rob are great guys who share our values and our passion for wine. We have decided to come together into one company, and we plan to double-down on our mission to introduce people to better quality wines, made with respect for people and the planet.
As founders of Collectivino, we will both continue to be involved as company directors in the new business, with Toby overseeing ethics, impact, agricultural science and sustainability, and Martin becoming chairperson of the new board. (And fear not, both of us will continue to taste-test the wines, naturally!)
What does this mean for Collectivino customers?
Collectivino customers will soon have access to an expanded portfolio of over 400 exclusive small batch wines from 100 wineries around the world. What's more, Wine&Something's wine buyer is none other than Robin Kick, one of only 415 Masters of Wine on the planet. So we think the wine drinking experience is going to get even better :).
Our websites will be merged in the coming weeks. In the meantime, customers can continue to shop at collectivino.com and Wine Club members will continue to receive their curated cases as usual.
Thank you
We are so excited about this next step as a company. None of this would have been possible without you - our community of loyal planet-loving, wine-loving customers. Thank you for choosing Collectivino, and making all of this possible. We look forward to continuing to bring you exciting high-quality independent wines, produced and supplied with values.
We're on a mission, and we love this job! 🥂
