The now 16-hectare Vignol Estate was first built by Baron Montesquieu (a philosopher with a passion for vineyards and wine). In the 19th century, the winery was redeveloped with a beautiful Louisiana-styled façade inspired by the owner's travels to the US.

In these valleys of Entre-Deux-Mers, they develop their Bordeaux in four colors: red, light, pink, and white. The Entre-Deux-Mers region with a clay & limestone terroir consists of a triangle formed by the Dordogne River to the north, the Garonne River to the south, and the eastern limit of the Gironde department. This area features a succession of slopes, plateaux, and valleys.

Vinification: Pellicular maceration, thermoregulated fermentation. Musts are stalled at low temperature (approximately 8°C) in order to profit from all the varietal flavour of the grape. Fermentation is always carried out under 18°C. After fermentation, the wines are kept on fine lees approximately 15 days.
